Overview
Welcome to the scientific portal dedicated to the research, characterization, and development of the new active molecule HHP256 (also known as IIF, formula C17H20O2, molecular weight 256).
Ecofield bases its entire activity on a proprietary Granted European Patent, combining excellence in the automatic monitoring of wastewater and industrial fluids with a deep vocation for scientific research also in other fields.
Through our Research & Development hub, we actively collaborate with researchers who, in turn, have developed highly innovative patents.
This project stems from the promising results of trials conducted by the researcher Khodor Ammar, carried out in synergy with and supported by the scientific contributions of research institutes, including universities.
This synergistic network has made it possible to push the boundaries of pure chemistry, dedicating ourselves to the design and characterization of the new organic molecule – derived from retinoic acid – from which the related patent in the name of Khodor Ammar stems.
Ecofield aims to explore the possible applications of the molecule in areas of human health.
History
Studies continued over several decades in the search for new compounds with therapeutic efficacy similar or superior to that of retinoic acid and its known derivatives, but with significantly less severe side effects.
An active compound it was made, in particular for use as a medicine in general and specifically in dermatology, oncology, and in the treatment of the nervous system; the compound is characterized by the formula C17H20O2 comprising three six-membered condensed homocyclic rings, including a central aromatic ring and two lateral aliphatic rings, saturated or unsaturated, in meta position relative to said central aromatic ring, and in which the lateral substituents R1 and R2 are alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
Both of the aforementioned lateral aliphatic rings may also comprise one or more additional lateral substituents selected from the group consisting of: =O, -OH, -O-R', -O-R'-OH where R' is a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated aliphatic group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
An alcoholic liquid solution of retinoic acid is prepared in an alcohol or glycol present in a considerable excess relative to the retinoic acid; an esterification reaction of the retinoic acid with said excess alcohol or glycol is then carried out at a predetermined temperature; said reaction is allowed to proceed for a predetermined time at the aforementioned predetermined temperature.
